Sygnal's Chrome Extension is Submitted!

After some discussion in Webflow’s FB forum, we’ve decided to release Sygnal’s internal Chrome extension for free to the community. It’s just been submitted to the Chrome store, and may take some weeks to review.

What does it do?

  • Small quality of life enhancements to the Webflow platform
    • e.g. custom name workspaces that you’re a guest in
  • Sidebar resources, relevant to the page you’re on
    • Website DNS diagnostics
    • Quick access to resources like Relume, the forum, etc.

Custom Workspace Names

Currently the custom workspace names are only supported in the dropdown selector. The original workspace name is shown as well, because I will allow all workspaces ( not only My Workspace ) to be custom named. In my case a lot of workspaces show the individual’s name rather than the Agency name which is not ideal.

Later I’ll add sorting, and probably starred workspaces so your active projects can be at the top of the list.

The extension has a sidebar view which was originally focused on commonly needed resources depending on what you’re viewing. Designer might show Figma, Relume, etc. Viewing a client site might contain your designer link, analytics, GTM, etc. It also has some diagnostic tools, checks your DNS setup, etc. That sidebar is being redesigned so I’m keen to know what tools might be useful here.
