# Modal "X" is not closing modal

Hi all! I’m having some trouble with the Modal Attribute. It’s my first time attempting to use it. Everything is working how it should except for the auto-generated close button. It does not close the modal. However, clicking off the modal still seems to close it out. Any suggestions?
